Think of it as an early beta with limited features. It’s rare for us to release public betas, but we need your feedback. (However, if you’re not comfortable with installing and using beta software, we recommend that you wait until the final release as technical support is not currently offered for this product.) After trying the Saguaro “sneak peek,” we’d like to hear what you think. What features, widgets, and applications would you like to see running in Saguaro? Let us know at the discussion forum. Before downloading and installing Saguaro, please take a moment to ensure that the software is compatible with your device.
Minimum requirements:
- Palm OS v5.0 (or higher)
- 320×320 resolution display (or higher)
- 100 MHz StrongARM/XScale ARM processor or faster (300 MHz recommended for best performance)
- 3MB of storage memory (RAM) to install Saguaro system executable
- 4MB of free storage memory to operate Saguaro
- 2MB of dynamic heap memory
- Internet connectivity (via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or cellular data service)*
Most newer Palm handhelds (Tungsten T3, Tungsten T5, TX, Tungsten E2, Zire 72, LifeDrive, Treo 650, Treo 680, Treo 700p) fulfill the above requirements.
*Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and data service connections are all supported by Saguaro. Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connections may require an ISP at an additional cost. Data services are provided by your phone carrier at an additional cost. Service available only within wireless coverage area. You are responsible for any charges incurred by your carrier as a result of using data service for Internet connectivity.

These Saguaro® “sneak peek” participation terms are accepted by the end-user (“You”) by download and/or installation of the application (“Saguaro.prc”). Please read all terms carefully.
The Saguaro® “sneak peek” is classified as a free beta, and as such, PDA Performance, Inc. cannot assume responsibility for customer support of this product, for any data loss, or for any other problems that may arise due to the download, installation, and/or use of this application. Please note that PDA Performance, Inc. has determined that this application meets a reasonable level of reliability (regarding data loss and/or software/device damage), yet PDA Performance, Inc. cannot be held responsible for any problems that may actually occur. Also, PDA Performance, Inc. cannot accept liability for additional charges (due to internet connectivity) that may be incurred due to use of this application¹. Please be aware that this application will attempt to obtain a data connection and obtain data upon launch.
Data provided in this application is provided in a free, unedited format by the Cable News Network and The Weather Channel Interactive, Inc., respectively. Responsibility for all widget content lies solely with the respective provider.
PDA Performance, Inc. and/or data providers may discontinue at any time, either temporarily or permanently, data provided by this application.
Individuals 18 years old and above may download, install, and use this application. For individuals under 18, involvement by a parent or legal guardian is required.
In consideration for the availability of this application (separate from the widget component), the consumer agrees to provide truthful information in the fields required for download. In return, PDA Performance, Inc. promises not to distribute this information in any way, and will not subscribe the end-user to any mailing list without appropriate consent.
The end-user acknowledges and agrees that PDA Performance, Inc. may at any time discontinue any/all functionality of this application.
The end-user agrees to not modify, rent, lease, loan, sell, decompile, or create any derivative works based on Saguaro®, in whole or in part².
